I like the idea of splitting Landy from MacK/Rant, but do you think they'll actually do it?

they did it at the end of last season, having Rants down with Soderberg and Landy with Mack. I think they would do it. The combo of a Landy Kadri 2nd line would be such a beast to match up against other teams top lines

Yeah I think any of Bura, Jost, Compher can slide anywhere in the top 9, I just love the ideas of Pairs

Last season we saw all sorts of line combos when secondary scoring was low. I think it all depends on who kadri gels good with. Mack is capable of carrying his own line and producing, so whoever works best with kadri, mack will get the left overs on his wing.

Yeah it seems we have a surplus of utility wingers at the moment hopefully someone can pull away this season and we could have a solid 2nd line. It would be nice if Nichuskin can find some junior form and produce a little.

I'd personally like to see nieto in over wilson, just because of skating ability but odds are we won't have 2.6 mil sitting as a healthy for very long.

Avalanche podcast yesterday said they want to feed burakovsky as a shooter because hes got such a good shot. A previous podcast said that caps players could see a difference when bura plays the right side than the left, him being much more successful on the right.

That's why they are going to try jost on 2 LW at the start of the year.

that seems like the load up as best as you can offensively option, Avs have a lot of options this season in their top 9, it might not be a lot of know high end offense outside the top 9 but its filled with lots of potential while still being super sound defensively. I think any given night, the match up game is going to be tough for most teams

I heard even though he is skating they still dont expect to have cole healthy enough till December. Skating is one thing right now, hitting is a whole other animal for those hips. No need to rush him back till then looks like Timmons will be given every chance to make the roster and he is looking really good out there this week
