Poolman should be trusted. Even if not kulikov and beaulieu are ahead of him. Kulikov would probably pay his offside. Or beaulieu plays with buff and niku plays his offside with kulikov. As I said we have a plethora of 3rd pairing d-men

Marner's contract is objectively fair, unfortunately the Marner camp has convinced everyone (including Dubas and Shanny) he's worth more than that.

I disagree on both parts. This number is too low. Maybe on a 5 year term you could try to argue it. Has marner convinced Dubas he is worth more than he is? I’m not sure if that. The last reliable report I heard was 10m x 8yrs. That seems to be close to on par with the Aho contract.

Yes Marner for 8.5 x 7, that is the deal we've waited all summer for! Of course Winnipeg gives up a 3rd for Ceci and doesn't look back, every nearly capped out team needs a 3RD @ 4.5M!

It's not low, again this shows how Marner's camp has managed to convince everyone that Marner is a lot better than he is. Maybe 9.5x7 is fair, but this is honestly his true worth. Dubas has offered 8x10, which already proves he's been convinced that Marner is worth that.

8.5 x 7 is low, 2 extra ufa years over Aho. If 9.5m x 7 is fair than so is 10m x 7. I do agree that Ferris has inflated marners price by not wanting either of those deals. They will have to find a deal that works for both sides.
