if anyone wanted risto, they would have traded for him before they spent most of their cap.

That could very well be true. Or the league could be log jammed waiting on the long list of RFAs who have yet to sign. Once the RFAs start signing you could begin to see a lot of movement across the league.

we are about to get into training camps. i dont think theres really going to be alot of movement across the league. not major pieces or major contracts moving anyway. lesser guys/role players for picks sure. but not going to see a whole lot of movement

There are a plethora of GMs on the record stating the league is frozen over the RFAs. I think many GMs have loosely structured deals in place, but the RFAs are holding everything up. Don't be shocked to see a lot of movement. We are entering uncharted territory for the league so it probably isn't the best idea to look at past events and think that is necessarily how it will continue.

Teams aren't locked into anything at camp. I would look more to the start of the regular season as when things will get ironed out; not the start of camp.

Im primarily basing it off of where teams are in relation to cap hits. theres really not much room left on many teams to swing deals like the one above unless salary is being matched etc. I just dont see it happening.

That's a fair point, but if teams are going to sign these high priced RFAs there will have to be movement.
