Chabot won't be that high. I think he's in the 8mil range on an 8 year deal, but we'll have to see what guys like Werenski and Provorov get before we really know.

Chabot is a bit better than both tho tbh and will will set the price for Dahlin and Heiskanen

Even 9.75 is too high. Speculation is difficult because we don't have the 2019-20 results yet, but who are you using as his comps to come up with 9.75?? That's 11.7% of an $83.5M cap. Pietrangelo and Karlsson both signed their 2nd contracts for 10.1% (7 year deals), Doughty got 10.9% but was 21 at the time vs Chabot who will be 23.

Those two also have a lot more on their NHL resume. At very least they'll set the floor. Hopefully they come in at 6 point Something

Good points, my reasoning was for the Sens to pay more than for Provorov and less than Karlsson.

Provorov is probably worth about $7M long term.
