At 1st glance, it seems Kreider is a perfect fit for Boston...a hometown guy whose "window" fits nicely with that core...and who brings the size and speed Boston most likely will need to fend off the big guns in their division...but given Boston's cap situation and the fact that Marchand and DeBrusk currently slot as 1LW and 2LW- Boston and the Rangers probably don't line up as trade partners.
If they do line up- the lowest the Rangers would consider for Krieder would be a 2020 2nd and a top prospect (preferably a forward)...they will get at least that at the TDL...Krieder playing in a contract year, with the team having a year of DQ system under their belt, and with an influx of high end talent- this is Kreider's year to really put up some numbers.
