I think Holland sits tight on Pulju unless some team bites for his pedigree.

From my assessment, Rasmussen hasn't proven more than Pulju at this stage, other than he is a year younger and hasn't shown the character flaw of demanding a trade as if that helps his career as Pulju has...

I am not certain Rasmussen is worth more than a 2nd on his own though, so I think the trade value wise is more likely Pulju and a 3rd or 4th for Rasmussen considering their careers/situations to date.

But then again, I really don't see a Pulju trade like this happening any time soon unless a team truly loves Pulju and will look past all this absurdity that has happened this summer and with Oilers development(which is doubtful).

For Holland, the only thing Pulju is good for at the moment is to send a message to the team that he won't be developing player so sloppily like that again, and that he also won't give in to players who try to control their situation like Pulju is when he hasn't earned that right in the league yet.

Getting Turris and keeping all your bad contracts seems bad.

I would take PoolParty for RasBussten though.

Really????? Rasmussen wasn't anywhere near ready for the NHL Holland kept him in Detroit hoping he'd be star from day 1 and maybe keep Yzerman at bay for another couple of years. Since Rasmussen had eligibility left in the WHL he couldn't be sent to the AHL. What a f#$%ing mess that was. At this point I would keep Rasmussen over pool party.

They kept him in the NHL because they didnt think he had anything left to learn in WHL playing against kids way smaller than him. Keep Yzerman at bay? lol. Holland and Yzerman both new that he would be taking over when Stevie stepped down last summer as Tampa's GM into an advisory role for the last year of his contract in Tampa.

When Holland made the decision to keep Rasmussen at the start of the season Yzerman hadn't stepped down yet. Plus if was premeditated why didn't get permission for Rasmussen leave early like they did with Zadina.

I never said Yzerman was part of the decision to keep Ras in NHL. Ras was NOT kept in the NHL by Holland to be "a star from day 1 and keep Yzerman at bay for another couple of years". Yzerman stepped down from GM position on September 11th of last year, so before the season started. When Yzerman stepped down, he and Holland both knew that Yzerman would take over in 19-20 or Yzerman wouldn't have stepped down from being the GM of the best team in the league that he had spent 10 years building.

Get permission to leave early? leave early from what?

What pedigree?
The guy is a straight bust who desperately needs a change of scene. Even he knows that at this point. He would sign a league minimum deal to play anywhere else in the NHL. Because right now he's playing his way right out of the NHL with EDM. I don't know where oilers fans get these ideas that there is value there. There isn't. He's a guy that will most likely end up on waivers, bounce to another team or two and probably end up out of the NHL. You will be lucky to get a low round pick on him.
The only reason that EDM sits on him is they are bitter that he wants out to attempt to salvage his career. Which is a horrible look for EDM and sure to make any NCAA prospect avoid them or stay in school for 4 years if EDM have chosen him.

Why was Zadina allowed to play in the AHL when he had eligibility left in the OHL and Rasmussen wasn't allowed to because he had eligibility left in the WHL?

Because Zadina was a loan from hils team in Europe, so the QMJHL didn’t actually own his rights.
