I heard on a podcast from an NHL. Com guy who covers prospects that the coaching staff in Bridgeport told bellows to focus on his play away from the puck/board work and not to worry about how many pts he puts up

It's not only intriguing but possible. Leafs get to clear cap space and be far more cap viable in the future while still getting good assets back. Isles get the Top 6 winger they needed to improve their offense without sacrificing any important roster players. As much as I like Mayfield, I'd rather give Dobson the minutes at this point.

Honestly, I'd rather do this than give up more for Marner. Yes from this Isles fan.
