shocker...and rangers roster trading for Kaut....how many times are you guys going to do the same trade before you realize that Kreider isn't going to get you Kaut from the Avs

With deangelo coming back too I think it's great value. We don't really have a spot for Kreider on the team with all of the wings we got recently but even if we flip him to another team or trade a different winger I think we would get the best of this deal

No offense but you really need to stop with the Kaut hype train. He’s a great young player but he’s underperformed I the AHL. Kreider and ADA for Kaut and a 1st is more then fair value...

wow that's an ungodly terrible Kreider deal.

The Buch deal kinda works without the protection though.

underpreformed? Let me guess you just looked at his stat line from last season, don't understand who is as a player, dont understand the role he was playing on the team, how he is known for his defensive 2 way game more than his offensive ability, and dont realize that he wasn't unable to train for a full offseason coming over to the Eagles bc of his Heart Condition

But hey you do you bc you know how to judge a player just simply by looking at his points.

deangelo is another 5'11 RHS Dman who would be what...4th behind Makar, Timmins, and EJ? So a rental year of Kreider and 3rd pairing RHS Dman on the Avs for Kaut and a. 1st? I dont see the value there

Why yes I did. 26 points in 62 games is underwhelming for a player of his caliber. Two way game aside...

So you aren't educated enough with the Eagles, didn't watch Kaut at all to make such a blanket statement of "he under preformed". Proving my point that just bc you think under preforming by clinking on his stat line for 5 seconds...right you nailed that one

3rd pairing defenseman? Let me guess you just looked at his stat line form last season, don’t understand who he is as a player, don’t understand the limited playing time he was given, or how he was the Rangers best 5v5 defenseman.

Sound familiar? Delusional...

Points are usually indicative of a young players predictive success. He, if he is such a great prospect and would never be included in a trade for Kreider AND Deangelo because he’s so damn good, should be able to score better then a .4 pace in an amateur league.

3rd Pairing Dman on the Avs...I guess your reading comprehension isnt the strongest bc he would be down on the depth chart for Rightiest against Makar (the Stud) Johnson (the vet and leadeer of the Dcore ) and Timmins (the golden child level prospect in the eyes of Management)

He isnt going to push Makar or EJ out of the Top 4, and would have to dethrone Timmins who the Org is beyond high on as the teams 3rd RHS Dman on the depth chart

Again you are proving my point that you are not even close to being educated enough to judge a player bc all you do is look at a players stat line and have no clue about the players level of player, the context, the role, etc that the guy was in.

You might want to spend the time to actually educated yourself on such a guy before you just throw out blanket statements of He's over hyped bc I clicked on his hockeyDB page

How is Deangelo behind Timmins? He is a half a Point per game D man in the NHL while starting 55% of his shifts in the D zone on a bad NYR team... He would probably get 3rd pairing mins in COL for now but would be a good future 2nd pairing guy once EJ declines.

Timmins hasn’t played an NHL game and coming off an injury so there’s absolutely no reason to put him above ADA. Obviously Makar is above him as well as EK. But he is a 2nd pairing defenseman on most if not all other teams. I really wouldn’t trade him but value for value this is a more then fair trade...

Bednar loves Timmins, there is a strong chance that he could even make the teams roster out of camp despite the glut of NHL depth Dman already on the roster. The hype train with the organization is out of control for him still despite missing last season.

Reading comprehension is really an issue for you. I just said how Timmins is the golden child level prospect with the Org still, and saying that they are beyond High on the Kid. Bednar who is one of the better coaches int he league loves TImmins and there is a reason why he practiced with the Avs big club all of last season. He was considered part of the NHL team in that regard.

Remember when I said he would have to Dethrone Timmins....are you understanding that now?

I’m not arguing Timmins is the love child of the Avs FO. I’m arguing ADA is objectively a better player at this time. That’s really all I’m saying...
