Gotta be a better prospect than Spacek. Perreault alone will cost you the 2nd and 3rd to get rid of.

Anaheim probably wants to get rid of Henrique at this point though.

Why? He fits as an OK 2C until one of Steel or Terry forces their way up, then fills out the 3C role as a solid 2way forward that can move up as needed.

If they "probably" want to get rid of him, wouldn't it make more sense to trade him somewhere and get more value than Spacek?

I agree with your first paragraph.

But Perreault has two years left and is still a decent player who they could probably move for a pick in his expiring season whereas Henrique has 5 left so if they wanted to move him getting a decent B prospect in Spacek(I watch a fair bit of AHL games and Spacek is pretty good, he might pan out) and and a 2nd and 3rd round picks is a not bad return. Not saying they for sure want to move him but I've heard rumors he was available and that the Jets kicked the tires on him around the TDL, he's 29 and starting a 5 year $5+ million contract so maybe given they're pretty much rebuilding they think it'd be better to move him now rather then waiting till he has little to no value.

Also another reason to move Henrique now is the cap relief in the future, like in all reality the Ducks aren't contending in the next couple seasons so it'd be smart to move Henrique while he has some value as opposed to keeping him and then in 2-3 seasons they're turning the corner so to speak and have young players that are due raises and Henrique has little to no value by then and just costs assets to move him at that point. Not saying that's for sure what will happen for the Ducks but it's possible.

Like maybe there's a better return for Henrique but if they wait too long there might not be, maybe it's best to move a guy now while you can and save some potential cap headaches in the future. As a Jets fan I can honestly say that's what the Jets should've done a season or two ago with Perreault, he probably had some value then and it would've opened up a lineup spot for one of the numerous prospects they had but they kept him and now they might have to give up assets to move him. The market has changed so I think teams would be wise to get ahead of future cap issues and trade a player now for a bit less of a return.

Idk, just my $0.02.

How much rebuilding are they actually doing though? They need some d-men, but they're looking decent up front, and have a top 3 goalie in the league. If they're out of it at the deadline? Sure. And yes, Perreault isn't bad, but he's overpaid, and given that Winnipeg needs some space to keep Laine and Connor, it'll cost you to get rid of him.

I'm not exactly sure what the Ducks are doing to be honest, can't really guage what their plan is.

I hope it doesn't cost to move him and really they should have enough space to sign their RFA's without trading him but I do think Perreault or someone else will have to be traded by the summer of 2020 to sign theie RFA's then.
