If a team thinks that getting Marner makes the a playoff team for the next 4 years then I'd say it's worth the 4 mid 20's 1st round picks

Anyhow @ 10.5 million could the Leafs match? It'll be a tough call. Actually it would be smart for a team, the Leafs would probably match that offer and than are handicapped with 3 guys making 33 million; if for some reason they don't match, it's not the 4 1st Rd picks lost offer. It's a better/smarter offer sheet attempt than the Habs tried with Aho.

Dubas pecking order is Matthews 1st, Tavares 2nd and I would think Dubas places both Reilly and Andersen (depending on the prospects development within the next 2 years) above Marner for importance to the team.
