Please no Marincin. Also, not in favour of trading Nylander when his value is low. I'd try him along side Matthews for a year and getting his value up. Getting him back to form means more to the team than his cap space and future assets do.
Also, if a Stanley Cup is the goal in the next 1-3 years, signing Mitch to a shorter term deal at a less cap hit than 11 mill and having the cap flexibility for deadline acquisitions going into the playoffs is more favourable to the team than ensuring he is with the team long term. I think a 3-6 year deal for equal to or less than 10 would be more ideal for both sides.
