Who am I overvaluing here? The only trade I think is in the pens favor is the one with Schultz. He’s injury prone and wouldn’t get as much minutes but he’s still capable of putting up a solid 40 point year and montreal already has an abundance of centers and left handed d. For the rust trade, all i’ve been hearing is tyler johnson isn’t worth the hype he gets and along with the fact that tampa needs to shed cap i thought rust and a third is a fair return.

The LA trade is atrocious for them. ZAR isn't worth 4 years of JJ and a 4th. Tampa hardly sheds cap by getting Rust back, who's also a massive downgrade on Johnson. Dallas has no incentive to pick up Gudbranson. I think Risto is absolute garbage, but Bjugstad is pretty garbage too, I have no idea since it's apparently arbitrary in regards to some players who's good and not, I have no idea how GM's would view it. What I will say is I've never heard anyone mention Risto's contract as a net negative (which it really is), so it seems the perception of him is at least a 5.4m player, which I assume - especially for a RHD, is more than Bjugstad's worth
