For the record, on most teams, Bracco would have played in the NHL last season. Should he find his way onto a team that has a top-6 spot available to him, he should be considered a dark horse to win the Calder Trophy.

So just to be clear, you are telling me that if Bracco was traded to say, New Jersey, where he would 100% be in that lineup, he would not succeed offensively? Yeah right. The fundamental problem with your argument is that you are basing things solely on NHL experience. It doesn't always work like that, especially with prospects that exceed offensively in the minors.

First of all, I dunno if he gets into New Jerseys lineup, they've got a great forward core. Maybe somewhere like Ottawa. I don't think he's going to be Hughes or Kakko running around. If he was, he'd have been in the league already. Very very rarely do players develop in the minors and come up and excel right away. There are exceptions, Boeser for example. I don't think Bracco does, and I've seen a lot of him as someone who closely follows an AHL team. I don't see it. I hope I'm wrong, I really like him.

I would doubt that, only because Dundon would look at his production, look at Matthews and go it's not a sure fire compliment to the roster. It would be an executive decision, although I'd imagine the GM would love it

Value for Toronto isn't the issue, but the value Manson has to Anaheim is. They deemed him good enough to anchor a pairing on his own when they moved Montour to Buffalo. They would need more because he's a big reason their D core is up their with the best IMO
