Mtl wouldn’t do 15th OA for Leddy & Ho-Sang. Knock it off with a 2nd Ikonen & a 3rd. Mete Kulak will be MTL top 4 next year. You can get Tatar for Leddy straight up, nothing else.

read up on what Top 4 Puck moving D go for in the trade market or just top 4's in general. if you think you'll get one in trade w/o giving up a first, you'll be disappointed. also if Mete or Kulak are top4 D, no one told Bergavin who is currently scouring the NHL for a top 4 D

he's going to find it really hard to find a top 4 D that won't require a package of picks. if teams cash out on a top 4 D, they usually do it for a package of picks. Puck moving D are a premium asset in the NHL.

Mete Kulak are puck moving D, Mete just turn 21 yo already played 2 years top pairing D. Kulak was a steal with this Calgary traded, played like a top4 D last year. But Mete needs a break lol

Mete played top pairing and totaled a whopping 13 points this season. and as far as I can remember he only played top 4 5v5 w Weber and saw no pp time which if he were such a great puck moving D is very strange. Sounds a lot more like a protection pairing, where Weber is there to cover for Mete. he's no tory krug. Kulak is not a puck mover. real solid clapper from the point, pretty good at walking the line, likes to get dirty... but not a puck mover.

Drouin-Weber Petry-Tatar are the guys at the blue line on the PP. Tatar bring you ~25 goals. Mete was playing top pairing all year, and yes only 13 points, but he’s good defensively and back Weber when they dump the puck on Weber’s side. He was only 20 yo, a 4th round pick. You can’t expect him to puts 30 points. Kulak is great.

Mete also had the worst xGA/60, worst CA/60 of all the regular defensemen on MTL, and Weber's xGF %, CF%, jump about 5 percentage points when playing w/o Mete. a 25 goal scoring wing is not worth a proven top 4 puck mover.tatar has only hit 25 goals, 3 of his 6 full seasons in the NHL. so ya he could get 25 goals, but it's a 50/50 shot
