99% of penguins fans think maatta is a top 4 defenseman. His value to these people is a high 2nd round pick to a top 6 30-50 point forward. If maatta is worth this you should trade the penguins seabrook for Kessel

I was targeting Lehkonen for maatta. Similar value to kahun. You nailed it. A solid young middle 6 forward for maatta. And that’s what he ended up getting. People trading him as a cap dump were dumb

Yeah I honestly don’t think he’s very good but his preserved value (like Niskanen) is pretty high

Kahun is way better than Lehkonen and a 5th, is a nice deal.

And most Habs fans tried saying Lehkonen was way better than Maatta and no way teams would give the pens even close to that value. They end up getting an even better player on a better contract and get a pick added in too lol. I love it

Habs fans on this site over valued everyone on the Habs. The thing with Lehkonen was he has bad hands and gets so close to scoring yet he rarely does, Kahun seems like a good middle 6 winger with 2nd line potential unlike Lehkonen. I'm a habs fan too however they drive me sorta nuts here.
