I fail to see how the above shows it’s no problem. Let’s see the trades that move out Marleau and Zatisev before making such assumptions. Until those 2 and Brown and/or Kadri are moved the team is still over the cap.

If leafs received an offersheet on July 1st they would have till July 8th to match or decline and have their cap at 91.3m or less with players that have signed contracts. Not every rfa/ufa or scratches and possibly with Hyman and dermott on ltir. Not sure they will go that route with those two not knowing their actual return date.

Congrats, you showed, with the 19 players you have here, you can make team worse then last year by matching offer sheets for Kap, Johnsson, and Marner. And of course you have 19 guys on the roster with no RHD guys on the team.

Like I said, Leafs can't match presumptive offer sheets for all 3 while making their team better...it's impossible. You've got $10M in cap space and need 3 RHD guys to fill it...don't see how you're going to field a better defensive 9 players then last year at this rate. Additionally, loosing Kadri as the 3C is pretty hard to replace and improve or even maintain your offense. So finish it up and show how you think the Leafs build a better team while matching presumptive offer sheets for Johnsson, Kap and Marner.

I see you finished the trades at least. So you have just under 10 million to assemble the right side of the defense. 3.3 million per spot on the right side isn’t much to work with. One of those needs to be a top pairing guy to play with Rielly to boot. Not a great situation for any team to be in.

And you arent bothered by how sarcastic and out of proportion the trades are .....as i said, the ignorants....
