I like the trades, although I think that’s a bit much to give up for Leddy. I’d hold off on signing Skinner, it will be difficult to sign Pulock and Barzal if we bring him in. Kapanen should help with the goal scoring

There is 20 million in cap room for the following season. Not counting a likely Komarov buyout. We will have plenty for those three....as a matter of fact, I wouldnt be opposed to a structured 1-2 million deal for Toews now like we did with Mayfield...

Montreal doesn't need Shaw but could easily trade a 1 and him for Leddy. They badly need DEF help and he is from there. That is a more than fair offer (minus the 5th rounder if you want). Hainsey will get a 3 million offer somewhere because he had a really good year. If it is under 3, great....but he made that last year so even though he is 38, the amount isnt far off. Most predictors have Panarin getting 10-11, Duchene 9-10 and Skinner (who has never had 65+ points in a season) getting right at 8-8.5. No one has him getting 9 plus lol

Hainsey only played last year because he was in Toronto. He’s not that good. He’s a 1-1.5m player. You think he should be making more than Chara?

Skinner scored 40 goals. 40 goals will get you 8.5+ no matter your assist total.

As for Skinner, I got you down from 9 to 8.5 (which is only 600,000 from where I had him) after just two comments, so you are hurting your argument. That being said I welcome using the 1.5 I overpaid on Hainsey going to Skinner's salary then lol
