Something about Turris that hasn’t gotten enough attention is that he broke his ankle, then first skate back he re-broke it. Could explain his poor stats this year

Yeah I agree I'm banking on a come back season this trade allows RNH to play left wing I think its decent gives Nashville 1.5 in savings plus assets not sure if they'd do it just a interesting trade I thought of

I think MTL would be interested the 8th overall in exchange for cap relief but Gallagher involved in any trade. If I was Edmonton I'd be looking at Lehkonen, Drouin, Hudon, Byron, and Shaw. They are all cheap good wingers who can produce at an acceptable NHL level and possibly even break out if given top 6 minutes with the talent Edmonton has. They have varying trade values but I could see MTL being interested in Sekera as a cap dump, so maybe more of a Sekera - 8th overall for Lehknonen - Hudon/Byron and 48th overall. Gives Edmonton two NHL wingers who can handle top 6 minutes, are versatile players, and can play every situations.

I think Nashville would trade Turris, but would not want to take back any money as they would be doing so in order to sign Duchene

Lucic contract one of the ****tiest in the nhl probably, but at a 1,5 retained and a "guaranteed" lottery pick in 2020 draft with a solid prospect, they can replace mcleod and Boyle with him and as it sounds maby Duchene incoming i would take it if I was Nashville

Yeah, even something like Lucic (even bigger cap dump) and 8th overall for Lehkonen and a second is something in which MTL would be interesting.

I can see that, but I'm not sure about taking Lucic, you would just be trying to move him as soon as possible. In reality though MTL is likely to do one cap dump trade to take on a piece, Bergevin just needs to have an idea of what is possible and choose the right path. Edmonton can offer you 8th overall for cap relief, maybe the Jets offer up one of thier young elite talents for some relief, maybe Tampa wants to give up Gourde for cap relief, just a bunch of options
