Lekhonen + Juulsen + 2 seconds round pick for Ehlers + Kulikov

I haven't heard any rumors about it but it seems fairly obvious that Ehlers is the new Nylander on this site, everyone trashes them and calls them overpaid busts/cap dumps but wants the guy on their team but also doesn't want to pay fair value for them.

Is that an actual trade rumor or something you just thought out?

Also there's trade history between Winnipeg and Montreal from the Armia/Mason trade so there's that too.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. Worst one I've seen lately is Ehlers+Kulikov for Shaw+Juulsen. Just no.

It doesn't answer the question I asked though. If you want opinions I'd say it's decent. WPG could do better though, I'd say. An actual rumor I've seen is Ehlers in exchange to Puljujärvi+8th overall pick. There's some value there.

Yeah that's pretty brutal really, it's like they see the value in his contract but don't want to compensate for it.
I haven't heard any actual rumors myself, there could be some out there but I suspect the Ehlers to Habs trades on here are from what I said.
Oh there's also that Ehlers was mentioned in Friedmans 31 Thoughts so to be fair there's that but that could be just Friedman filling his piece with some juicy hockey trade gossip which is the business he's in.
