Here's what the three gentlemen above mean:

1. Marleau isn't going anywhere.
2. The Nylander-for-Pesce ship has sailed.

4. Toronto can't afford to trade Kadri for RNH and absorb $1.5M additional in cap hit. One of the prices for such a trade is that, as your roster shows, Toronto can't afford to re-sign Andreas Johnsson.

But you did well to note that there are some teams in the Western Conference that, contrary to half of Leafs Nation, think Nikita Zaitsev would be worth acquiring for a positive return, no matter how limited.

Primarily just bored and wanted to see what dumb stuff I could actually do on this (first time using the Armchair GM aspect of the website), but yeah, Zaitsev has more value to most struggling western teams than he would for Toronto. I mean sure that cap is a bit high for what he's capable of, but as a Habs fan I know I can't really talk because of Alzner's contract.
