E. Karlsson didn't get as nice of a return if i recall correctly. Fills Nashville's needs if Mete can play full time on the nhl level.
I know nothing about Primeau but his NCAA stats look good. COuld use a goalie that could compete with Saros after Pekka retires

There's a couple of differences between Josi and Karlsson. For example...
1) OTT was rebuilding and they were pretty much forced to move Karlsson if they wanted to get something for him, as he was most likely not going to re-sign with them since Melnyk is a cheap f*ck, to put it mildly. Josi will most likely re-sign with NSH.
2) NSH is a contender. A player like Josi is vital for the team, so it's unlikely that they move him.

1) Nashville doesn't need 4 top pairing dmen. You can be a contender w/ 3 of em.
2) Nashville's forward group is consistently what is holding them back from taking the next step
3) Josi or Ekholm will get Nashville the biggest returns
4) Financially speaking it wouldn't make sense to send out Ekholm unless you get a return you can't pass up since his cap hit is great for 3 more seasons
5) Subban had a down year and due to that teams are going to try to lowball Nashville

1) Without Josi, NSH as a team would be so much worse
2) If you're looking to move Josi for a forward, you could do so much better than Drouin. Another 50 point 2nd line winger doesn't really help you guys. Just look at Granlund, he didn't really make your team better in any way.
3) Same as the two above. Moving them would make them much weaker and they could do much better than this if moved
4) Then move Josi for a better forward if necessary
