Description

Rangers pickup Anisimov to entice Panarin to sign with them. Trading the 1st which should hopefully be in the 20-30 range for Kapanen gives the hawks a gritty player who can score. He's the type of player the Hawks need. Carolina trade probably needs more value going to Carolina ?? Maybe the Hawks also send a pick to the Rangers to take Anisomov .. he could really go to any team, just get him off the Hawks

I'm from Toronto and watched a lot of Leaf games this year. Kapanen looks like he's going to be a really good player. IMO will exceed Saad and be a cheaper cost.

Kapanen had inflatable point totals from playing with Matthews and still didn't match Saad's point totals when Saad was playing on the 3rd line for most of the year on a non-playoff team. Definitely not worth a 1st round pick.

That Saad trade is baaaaad. Canes offered Faulk for Saad straight up and we declined bc Faulk isnt worth Saad alone. That package should get you a guy like De Haan

Kampf is a better 4th line center than Bellmare. Also, you can probably get more from Anisimov. And I'd keep Saad on the 3rd line instead of giving him up for a Defenceman. We don't need more D men. We have plenty of prospects. Also keep the first.
