THN referenced one thing in common with successful rebuilds is that a lot of the time the teams turning their fortune around have around 10+ draft picks for a number of years. (some of this is the result of trading players at the deadline to acquire extra picks) The Rangers should use this strategy imo.

I'm not sure this is accurate. It could happen but he's got great intangibles and would help a rebuilding team with his strong character.

The Rangers have more than enough "character guys" and could do without another one that only put up 20 points in 70 games.
