The story is Fox will not sign with Carolina wants playing time this year. We only have one right hand defense signed so there is an opportunity. Palet very solid two way top six forward just has been injury prone the last two years. Not sure there will be a better offer.

Well Palat won't waive his NMC anyways, so this whole idea is moot. But Fox doesn't have much value right now, because he won't sign in Carolina, and all he has to do is wait and he becomes a free agent and can sign anywhere.

If Fox goes to school next year it won't matter if you trade for him or not, He'll wait and become a free agent.
