- Nobody was taking Niskanen at TDL, wait until Draft
- Wanted to keep Bura together w/ Eller and Conno for now and can always do something at draft too.

You can't have too much depth in the playoffs. Especially with no cap enforced in the playoffs.

I disagree but I agree.....caps could have used depth but teams were paying sooo much for rentals..... look at cbj.....they might not make it out of the 1st round and they gave up everything

Yeah, the improvements GMBM made to the roster were very shrewd and inexpensive. Especially when compared to the rest of the league at the deadline today. CBJ has 2 draft picks for the upcoming draft, which is expected to be one of the deeper drafts in recent history. We're not mortgaging our future for immediate success - especially since we have essentially the same team that won the Cup last year, minus Beags and Grubi.
