Just a thot, if TOR trades Zaitsev instead of Bracco, would both TOR and OTT be better off?

I Agree, but it seems like a bunch of teams are in on Stone and Vegas has been known to give up too much to get "their guy" (see Tatar, Pacioretty trades)

Not sure Ottawa would take Zaitsev's contract

The Miller fantasy continues. If Vegas is trying to get themselves stronger for a playoff run by trading for Stone, why would they trade Miller (if he isthat good) for futures.
Another near 4m the Leafs have to get rid near year. Is Miller better than Zaitsev? Probably not.

Miller hasn't been playing for Vegas so thats why they would trade him. He did, however, play 20 minutes a night throughout the playoffs last year... He's quite a bit better than Zaitsev. With this trade leafs would dump Zaitsev in the offseason, Not resign Gardiner or Hainsey and that would keep the salary going to the D low

But everyone thinks Zaitsev is untradable. Gee, I hate to acquire Miller just to hope he start playing well again. Miller had one good year, last season, the Leafs and even Vegas aren't depending on that happening again. As a said, the Miller fantasy continue....and only for Leaf fans.

Miller is on a 40 point pace over 82 games this year. He had 41 last year. He isn't a 1 off. This is how trades work, 1 team values an asset more than another. And who says Zaitsev is untradeable? last time I checked guys on this site don't determine market interest in a player.
