Absolutely. Both Wennberg and Bjorkstrand will need to show up now. If CBJ locks down Duchene with extension, Wennberg will be on the next train to Kitty Hawk (look it up, it’s a great song by Balsam Range- if you like the song, please like this post!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Bjorkstrand will have no excuses either. Just look at the box tonight, Many lower line forwards did well with additional top center talent on the team...putting Duchene on the top line with Atkinson and Panarin, with no practice time. It opens the game up for the struggling lower line guys.

BTW, I disagree with Torts. No risk move would have put Duchene with Duclair & Bjorkstrand to start.

Enh. I'm not as down on Carlsson as some, nor do I really believe in Lehkonen. And I don't think we need LD, even with Murray on IR. But that's just me.

Harrington is holding his own. I think Jarmo still wants another experienced D man rental that still keeps us under the cap. Just food for thought. Who would it be???

Benn has played his entire career up until last season on RD and much of this season there.
he was only activated on left side when Weber was out and in Weber's return has been picked over for Mete and Kulak

Benn's offense started flowing again once we put him back on Right side to as it allows him to utilize the one thing he excels at , Back hand plays .

Cool. We're pretty well set at RD as well, although there's not as much depth there if someone gets injured. wink

they are bad trades i already stated that .
we could get Wennberg for less , dangle a few picks and a Jake Evans for your diminished depth chart and CBJ will deal
no excuse to assume stuff and state them as facts.

its like Henri J who played LD and RD for Finland , everyone says he's a LD but he's actually like Radulov or Gostisbhere who are both more comfortable on their off sides using their skating ability to carry the puck around the ice until they cycle around . in todays NHL to make an impact many players have had to develop as both left and right side prospects something that was uncommon 20 years ago
