If he did all 3 of those deals he would "go away" as in he'd get his ass fired. No way the Bruins trade that many young players at the deadline unless a 1st line talent is coming back like Panarin + some depth players. You basically traded all the Bruins youthful depth for 3 guys that should play on the 3rd line. Hayes is the only real 2nd liner, but I view Krejci as better than he. Dzingel and Coyle are solid 3rd liners, but these aren't players who I feel would put the team over the top vs Tampa Bay or Washington.

Yeah it's alot to give at one deadline. Get hayes and call it a day.

Bruins are currently 4th in the NHL standings....fans still want the GM gone. Cassidy has done a fantastic job rebuilding this dumpster fire that the recent unemployed PC left behind.

I can't see how any fan views Donnie that way. Cassidy and Donnie have both done a great job. Bruce learned his lesson from his failed time in Washington, and Donnie learned all the lessons Chia taught him. If this was Chia's team (and they weren't still in cap jail) then he would have traded Pasta already. I was okay with the Nash trade at last year's deadline and I'm okay with Donnie not making any moves this year. I wouldn't give up a first for a rental and I still think the jury is out on most of the young guys.
