Not sure, they are pushing but its still kind of intriguing trade, but I think the first would be too much as Nurse is developing very well. Maybe drop the first replace with a 2nd and drop the NYR 3rd

I would give you Spurgeon and Zucker and retain 1/2 their salary (2 years worth for Zucker) to get back what you are offering to the Rangers!

I give slight edge to Nurse. So trade basically Nurse for Pionk and Krieder for JP and a 2nd. JP has bad rep but I think he is one of the hardest working Oilers on a nightly basis, the coaching staff just never gives him extended period of time on consistent line with good players. Back in December was last time JP had extended few games on 2nd line with JJ-Nuge and they were the Oilers best line that week(then JJ got suspended 2 games) and they never went back to that line combo

It's sounds to me like the Oilers are playing Puljujarvi just like the Wild did with Niederreiter. He was always one of the hardest working Wild forwards and rarely given the chance to succeed with other skilled players. I would love to take Puljujarvi off your hands! What would you ask back from the Wild for Nurse and Puljujarvi???

Nurse is currently a fair bit better than Pionk, but with Sekera coming back the oilers have an excess of LHD and could use a 3rd pairing RHD. I'd argue Kreider is a major improvement over JP, plus the thought of him playing alongside McJesus sounds like a wet dream I had once

Yea Kreider is a lot better currently but is a UFA in a year, JP still has RFA years left
