In my opinion, they're good where they are. They don't have enough cap to trade for a player and even if they do I like their prospects too much.

In my opinion they shouldn’t buy or sell. They’re in the 2nd wildcard spot and they’re trending upwards. They shouldn’t sell because they have a good chance of making it. But they probably shouldn’t buy either, they don’t have their 1st rounder this year, and their lineup is already pretty stacked. Maybe if Binnington starts to play poorly you can make a move for a goaltender, but that’s it (howard for a 2nd and prospect?). This team already has depth, and it’s already built like a team for the playoffs

Dallas is 6-1-1 in their last 8. St Louis probably could get the 3rd central spot cause we’re choke artists but even then can they defeat Nashville than Winnipeg? I know they sold last year while in a wildcard spot so it wouldn’t surprise me if they did

I say you still sell Steen. If you can swap Allen you do it, but a vet goalie has to come back to back up the Binner. If the Blues add anything, it should only be a prospects deal.

I think it should be Varlamov in offseason, and give Allen to a team who is desperate for some type of goalie.

Blues need a 2C now that Schenn plays on the wing. Bozak is a serviceable 3C but definitely not a 2C.

The options are Getzlaf, Duchene, Hayes possibly Heberdeau, and he plays wing for the most part.

Robert Thomas will be that guy. Was heating up before he got hurt and has looked great since he has been back.

I'd love to add Duchene as a 2C, but I'm afraid Ottawa is going to get some sick offers that the Blues won't want to match. He's fit in real nicely, but Thomas is the Blues 2C going forward. Perhaps a Duchene add and a Bozak trade for futures??? Anyone? Anyone?

Thomas is getting better and better every game. The kid is going to be really good. Perhaps not superstar-good, but ROR good. Hope he wins face-offs like the Blues should-be capatain.
