Staal is still a much better dman than wideman. its basically a one for one swap youve made so to me it doesnt work. that toronto trade is fantasy.

I dont think you can do that, but you can lottery protect a pick.

Can't see why the Leafs would trade Nylander....and even stats wise (if it means anything) was even better than Bennett pro rated. Who knows where that pick is allocated, and Leafs should be high on Kapanen. What possible use is Stajan to the Panthers? Stajan is a 4th liner or press box guy. Am I wrong, but is that Giordani signing at 6.75m or whatever looking bad? Isles wouldn't trade cap friendly Harmonic for him. The Flames can get good goaltending instead of Halak especially for 4.5m

NYR get out from his contract and acquire Wideman with only one year left. CGY gets a competant defender signed long term for a reasonable amount. Win-win for both teams.

Not sure what is going on with the TOR trade, but seems unnecessary. Give Okposo a bit more $$. I like the general idea here

Come on pal! You are better than that. Leafs are getting a 1st round pick too...Bennett would be a great addition to TML.
