Poehling and Suzuki likely start the year in the AHL. MTL will develop them properly and take thier time, with Domi, Danault, and Kotkaniemi in the NHL we can deal from a position of strength for once and trade a center for a primieum when Suzuki and Poehling are ready the next year.

who knows alot people think poelhing might be ready to start. Brook had a great camp might suprise like mete and suzuki might start AHL but again he is a 1st plan propsect

Give them some time in the AHL, Bouchard is a great coach and having all those young guns on one team will just let them bond. Detroit was great because they let thier kids develop together, MTL can do that, let Brook, Poehling, Suzuki, Evan's, possibly Ylonen and Ikonen, Fleury, Walford AND Primeau all play on the same team next year. It will benefit MTL for years afterwards when they join Domi, Drouin, Kotkaniemi, Gallagher, and Mete.

I think people forget that Carey Price actually developed in the AHL and won a Calder Cup before coming into the NHL. MTL has a legitimately good development system in place, they just need to actually use it for once. That means patience, 2 years from now fans will rejoice.
