Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Not sure if maybe some pieces get added and maybe some other salaries moved since Winnipeg have a lot of expiring contracts. But I think this is an interesting idea for both teams. Peg gets a stud 2nd line center who is cost controlled, NYR get a winger who although he is slumping right now has the potential to be one of the best goal scorers of this era.

The Jets should try to trade for Zibenejad but don't send Laine going the other way.

the issue will be that ziba's value is over the roof right now and with being locked down at 5.3m for 3 more years after this one the overpayment would have to be ludicrus otherwise nyr walk away. He is 25 point per game and a good leader. Laine for is a little overpayment right now but otherwise nyr would pass moving an elite 1st line center.

Key word is POTENTIAL. Even in his slump he still has lots of value but if you look at Winnipeg's roster they need centers more than wingers. Lots of talented wingers in the lineup. Hurts to loose Laine but Zib would be amazing on the Jets. Also like i said this is more an idea not a full trade. Maybe NYR send some additional assets back to Jets.

Trade Vesalainen, a 1st and about 7 other pieces for him, the whole point of trading for Zibenejad would be to put him on a line with Laine.

the key is too get laine a center who he can form chemistry with his and little's games r too different, or wait till conner is back on his line
