    Nice thinking on the trades and the signings . Wonder if the Ducks (who have cap issues too) might want to trade Vatanan instead of Theodore.

    The Blackhawks would probably rather have Vatanen than Theodore, but we can't afford it. The cost-control is what makes this work, otherwise we'd look to Pouliot or Morin/Sanheim.

    Yeah the Ducks trade would either be TT for Theodore or Shaw for Theodore. Maybe add low picks from the Hawks in each of those but there is no way its TT and Shaw for Theodore.
