Habs easily decline. Not sure if you are aware, but Kruger has negative value. Would have to give up a decent piece if you want to drop that contract.

His contract would only have negative value if it had any length, but since it ends this year and you have the cap space his contract really shouldn't matter if he's only on the team for 3 months. Not every non-superstar that makes over 1mil has "negative value".

Actually wasn't aware he only had one year left, that being said, he isn't going to change anything for Montreal, he won't be the difference between us making the playoffs and us missing it. I'm sure a team that needed a 4th line center would be interested, but it doesn't make sense for Montreal.

Kruger and Rutta are both a good fit for Toronto and collectively should get a 4th rounder. Marty is worth more then a 7th for sure....hate to lose him but should get a 5th or just keep him. We need to move on from Anisimov....Islander or BUF...he's worth a 2nd. Forsling or Dahlstrom need to go also.
