The first trade Kadri for Alzner + 3rd tells me that if they are... they know nothing about what's going on with other teams. Alzner just went through waivers and is currently playing in the AHL. He was waived by a team that has a serious need for good LHD. His contract is horrendous. So the trade is Kadri for a 3rd and a very overpaid AHL dman.

Why would the Bruins (who need scoring) trade Debrusk for Gardiner? Bruins have absolutely zero need for Jake Gardiner.

Debrusk is almost single handedly the reason half of Toronto wants Gardiner gone.
