I don't know if it's technically confirmed, but Matt Kalman and Ty Anderson have both reported that EDM is on Krug's No Trade List.

I’ve been very quiet on the Boston Bruins/Nugent-Hopkins/Torrey Krug rumour for one, specific reason:

The #Oilers are on Krug’s NT list.

He also hinted at it during the summer when his name was linked to EDM and he was asked about trade rumors

That trade is horrible anyway. No way trading Backes for Looch. Looch is worse and has a longer contract. Donato has a bright future.

Lol, it’s same cap hit as Looch and Looch is longer deal so no. The 2m retained on Looch would make up for the extra years.

$4M yr is less than Backes buyout money. Also if Bruins bought out Lucic at the end Edm would foot 33% of the buyout cost. If Ed was willing to eat 50% of Lucic contract Id even be willing to eat 50% of Krugs money for a year.
