Not bad... Like the idea of Fleury... And there is a good chance he can be bought as the pens can only protect 1 goalie if the expansion draft happens at the end of next season... You aslo brought in a true 1st line right winger to play with Johnny and Mony!!!! But the part I like the most is calling up some young guys for development and getting out of 3 bad contracts... Wideman traded and Smid and Raymond bought out!!!! Love these moves.... NOW can our real GM make these happen.... Also we need a new coach.... I heard last years Jack Adams award winner is available!!! LOL

Thanks! I'm glad it looks like that these are moves that could actually happen. Obviously some question marks with mine, like what if Okposo won't sign? What if we can't land Fluery? I still think there are good options out there outside of those guys, but to me it's obvious that these are more ideal. I thought it was important to give some of the younger guys a chance this year (at least at the start) so that they can develop.

If Dallas wins tomorrow i can def see that trade happening. My only thing is with Smid, Its too early to tell if he will retire or be put on LTIR rather then a buyout. Out of curiosity who would you want drafted with the 6th pick.

Well it depends on who falls to us there. I think we'll be taking one of Nylander, Tkachuck or Dubois (Though it sounds like Dubois won't make it past Vancouver). It'll also depend on what he Oil will do with their pick at 4. My personal preference is either Dubois or Nylander (though I wouldn't be upset if Tkachuck fell to us). I see a lot of mock drafts having us take Tkachuck so I feel like I should be prepared for that. I wouldn't be upset if they took a dman instead, Juolevi or Chychrun would be sweet.

Sergachev would be cool too.

Regarding Smid....Players don't retire if they money coming to them in a contract. Players can't be put on LTIR unless they physically can't play (despite what many wish for)
