Description
NOTES:
- Robidas and Horton both qualify for SOIR having not played a game in the NHL last season.
- Lupul is on IR. His Cap Hit counts, his roster spot doesn't
- I have not been able to find any limits to the number of regular buyouts a team can have. We have plenty of cap space in 2017-18 so these buyouts don't cause any issues.
- Unless the right deal presents itself this summer, I would wait until the TDL/ end of next season to move JVR and Bozak for D and G help due to the expansion draft.

    I should have noted it was WSH pick so VERY late 2nd... will edit. If this is what it takes to get it done, I'd do it. There are 20+ teams in this league who would love to have Shaw.

    Percy is done in Toronto. He has to clear waivers. His value is zero.

    My only concern with that is Bozaks trade value will be weakened if he is only playing 10 min a game. It might be better to trade him now for something and get better value and keep Laich or resign Holland.

    Percy and Harrington. Teams carry 15 or 16 players Dmen or NHL/AHL contracts. Looking at the Leaf/Marlie roster, I doubt if there is a spot for those two guys who now have played 3 full years in the AHL.
    Leafs1967 said it best....His value is zero (at least his trade value).

    Loov, I know the LTIR rules say if a player doesn't play the previous year, he can be put on LTIR cap at the becoming of the season. But the cap rules also state that a player signed over the of 35 years has to stay on the teams cap regardless in they play or not......See Pronger and Datysuk. I think the Leafs can only get 925,000 cap relief for Robidas.
