You're an idiot. Horton is on and has always and will always be on LONG TERM INJURED RESERVE (LTIR). The way it works is that is cap hit isn't taken away from the cap, its still on it. However, the Leafs can spend over the cap but the amount of Horton's contract ($5.3M) since his contract DOES NOT affect the Leafs cap. Essentially, the Leafs can spend $88.3M on contracts next season and they're cap hit will still be only $83M. So you really should know your facts before you go acting like you know everything.
