Description
With a pretty wide open division should the Bruins make some moves and take one last crack with their current core including Chara?

Subban is a good fit for edmonton. A young promising goalie that can grow with the team and challenge Talbot

The trades are interesting but I think both ANA isn't looking to add another defenseman, especially an old one that is declining, and I think if EDM were to trade Eberle they would want some defensemen.

Seidenberg to ANA and 1st to BOS would have to be removed for that deal to work for ANA. 1st + good prospect should be the cost for Vatanen. They don't want another cap dump on D in addition to Stoner.

Not sure if Subban holds that much value to EDM. Talbot seems to be a perfectly adequate goalie and both he and Subban are expansion draft eligible...meaning that EDM could just be trading for a guy they lose for nothing as the primary piece in a deal for one of their better trade assets. Just doesn't make sense for them.

The Ducks....let's say the draft picks even out....then it Vatanen for Seidenberg.....horrible for Ducks.
If Subban is that good, maybe the Bruins should keep him. There are lots of goalies in the AHL, and Subban hasn't shown he is NHL good,

You're really selling Lauzon short. He's got potential to be a good one.

Having the lottery protection also means that the pick BOS gets is guaranteed to be later, in a draft that isnt as deep.

I dont think Edmonton wanraa guy like Seidenberg either, to go with Fayne, Ference, Gryba... and so on. I thought the deal from ANA's perspective was good enough to take on Seidenberg and he could fill a veteran depth role.

Your probably right about the expansion stuff, but until its set in stone that its happening Im not going to consider it.
