Neither team would take these trades. EDM's Klefbom is a STUD. He's their only Dman worth anything and on a 5 year $4.2M contract. You don't get TRUE Top Pairing Dmen for that unless they're on their ELC or being propped up by a Norris Caliber Dman. I'm not joking when I say this...you'll have to add (2) 1st rounders to that trade...and I think EDM would still turn it down because they need him that much.

This trade was being discussed by both teams before the season so chill.

I don't know... We are discussing about a guy that brings the other team a 6M contract for three more years... He has 1 point in 13 games so far this season, I mean, he is really bad. Who wants someone like Backes on his team? Yeah, good guy off the ice, but on the ice he's done (at least in the NHL).
Minnesota gives you 2 solid players on solid and not long-term contracts, we give them a good Heinen, a mediocre prospect and one of the badest contracts in the league...
Krug for Klefbom... I think the Oilers pass on this and we should not give up too much for a player like Klefbom. Btw is Krug lethal for our PP (yeah I know in the playoffs he was a shadow).

At no point in time did I tear down Krug. I understand this was a discussion between GMs. GMs have lots of discussions...it's their job. I'm just emphasizing that every day is a new world and Klef has been killing it. 5th in the league in ATOI. Klef has been GREAT! Again...never tore down Krug in any way shape or fashion.
