That D is awesome. Problem is, now the Flames need to leave a Dman exposed in the expansion draft unless they go 4-4-1 but that's no good either because then after protecting Monahan, Gaudreau and Bennett up front, they can only protect one of Hayes, Backlund, Frolik and Colborne. Also, speaking of Colborne...what happened to him? A 19 goal 45 point 26 year old forward shouldn't just vanish from our lives here, especially when you have Jooris on the 2nd line in your proposal.

An enforcer dman for Phil Kessels centre?!?!? Wideman isnt worth anything close to tatar. That D would/should be incredible and able to carry them to the ploffs. Especially if they get at least an average coach in there.

@Burnemup - I'd leave Gio Exposed in the event of an exapansion draft we don't even know when and if that's gonna be... lot of things can still fall through in the next year or two. But if say 2017/2018 is the year. I'd take a chance leaving GIO. Colborne in my opinion is replaceable wiht guys like Shinkaruk, Potentially Poirier, Pollack, etc, not worried about him. Also I see that second line more as a 3rd line with the the development of Bennett and hopefully Pribyl and Shinkaruk.
