He is still sees the 5th most Total icetime out of their fwds. Just bc he was on a 4th line for an early game to start the season that they would take him for a bunch of crap from the Oilers

Florida has notoriously stupid management, just seeing how far off a 1st, A-prospect, and a 3rd was.

Kassian is junk, a 1st is nice. Jones is not a A-Prospect, hes a decent one but hes not a top 50 prospect in this league. So a 1st and a decent prospect for a 1st line winger while having to take on a terrible player is a collection of crap

Florida treats their rosters like a math equation. All their players are "analytically" good players.. or they should be.. They're trying to recreate the moneyball of Hockey.

So all that to say, there is a 0% chance they take on the worst analytical player in virtual every category in a Huberdeau trade.. even if you try to sugar coat it with a first and a decent prospect

This trade does not happen. The value is lacking even for a 'bad' trade.
