I think the value is there, but the Leafs need Kapanen as a replacement for Nylander if he were traded.

I think TT would be the replacement. Personally I would rather see kappy stay and put up nylander for pesce.

Taking TT is a no-no, thats moving half of Aho and thats a bug No from Carolina effectively theyre losing a 50 point scorer plus what he helps Aho get, and Faulk for someone who's not as good as Aho and Kapanen... Ha no

We dont want anyone, you and your fan base are the ones assuming we will get reamed in a trade for Nylander. You are NOT getting Nylander, its been said by every respectable hockey guy that the GMs are aware hes not being traded.

That's not enough to get both Nylander and Kapenen. Faulk and Teuravainen can get you just Nylander. That's it.

Aho is better then Nylander stats back it up, I play hockey and I watch about 40 games of every team in the league over the course of a season, Aho is younger and already matching the point production of Nylander, plus while Aho has Teravainen and TT is good, he isn't Auston Matthews and Nylander struggled without matthews last year

That is partially false, Nylander didn't struggle without Matthews. He continued to create scoring chances at an elite rate at 5v5. Nylander gets the same terrible treatment by fans and the media as Zaitsev and it's less deserved. Nylander isn't as good as Matthews but statistically speaking he isn't much of a step below Marner. He actually is better in many ways than Marner and if it weren't for Marner's powerplay points last season, Nylander would have outscored Marner's by a fair amount.

As for Aho, he's right there with these guys. He's a fine player, I don't mean to take anything away from him. My point is this. Nylander isn't some depth guy. He's elite and a top-level player. People saying Kapanen replaces him is a joke. Kap is a good guy to have around but he's half of what Nylander is.
