I think it is time to consider trading Nylander . Our depth up front looks good at the moment. Some targets might be Brett Pesce from Carolina, Shayne Gostisbehere of Philadelphia, Tyler Meyers or Jacob Trouba from Winnipeg, Matt Dumba of Minnesota or Brandon Mountour from Anaheim. I think any of these would fill the hole on the right D. This might not be a one for one and there could be additions going either way. Any thoughts

I would stick to the more defensively strong type. We have enough puck movers and offensive d on the team and in the system.

If a trade happens, I think CBJ would be a good target. Savard would be a good fit. CBJ would have to add to that a bit though. Perhaps a prospect and a 3rd.

Ummm... if you are thinking forwards... Nylander to Calgary for Tkachuk. Calgary is weak on the right, Leafs are weak on the left, Tkachuk will be cheaper, Nylander is better, match made in heaven?

I like the idea of this trade but Toronto shouldn't be getting older. It just doesn't make sense trading Nylander for that.
