Calgary might say yes (to the bennett deal)- I know Calgary doesn't want to give up on him but a career high of 36pts and two consecutive seasons under 30pts, If they do move on, I am not sure they would get a better offer. At the very least JFK should do mirror those numbers & Koppanen has some upside, but I am not sure this makes them better now or in the long run. No farm system and no picks. They still have an age/health uncertainty at center & they won't have enough money to resign Tkachuk, Donato, Carlo, Mcavoy and Zadorv.

Why most of the Bruins-Fans try to change half of our roster. I mean, we did very well last season with a very unexperienced team. I get it, Backes (I see him doing better this season) may not have the best contract and you can discuss about some other players... but have you ever looked at other teams? I mean, we have a good mix between veterans and young players. I expect Donato and other prospects to go a step forward. Btw, the guys in Providence are doing very well in developing our prospects!

can we collectively agree to stop trading players that we're just signed as a UFA?
