Well explain and tell me what is a fair deal

I said it before:

1) A pile of crap does not bring back a good player. You actually have to give up talent to get it.

2) teams don’t trade players they just signed or trade for players that just left.

3) you have to have some org depth. You can’t trade a dozen plus players for 3 or 4.

4) put yourself in the other teams shoes and think about the other teams needs, direction, salary cap implications before just trying to take a player you want for players you don’t. I mean would you take a bunch of 4th liners and backups for Pasta or Mcavoy or Bergeron? Ya, neither would other GMs.

5) don’t overpay for players just because you like them or undervalue players just becuase you don’t

When both teams have motivation to do the deal. Why on earth would the Bruins make that deal with Chicago?

I'm not even gonna look at the trades ... 4 trades all for one team and i know it isn't actually realistic.

So ottawa takes a third and retains 2 mil on ryam so ots essentially paying 6 for backes and 2 more for ryan which is more expensive than keeping him, for about the 88th pick in the draft. Yeah no

If Boston was going to keep Czarnik they would have signed him...he left as a UFA because Boston has no room for him.
