No thanks from Minny. Kunin is our best prospect and Kahkonen is our only goalie prospect (Dubnyk is 33 so we're gunna have to start thinking about his replacement). I'd rather we keep our young players and picks than give up all that for an aging goal scorer. Kessel is a great player don't get me wrong, though.

Habs have zero need for Jarry or any Goaltender for a while now. Neimi will warm the bench behind Price. and Lindgren will play as many games as possible in the AHL, with McNiven pushing behind him. Then top it all off with Primeau as a legit prospect most likely being one of the goalies to represent team USA at the World Juniors.

Even if Price were to get injured. Lindgren gets his #1 G chance with the Habs, Niemi stills keeps the bench warm like a good boy, and McNiven gets #1 G in the Laval and call up an ECHL G to back him up. and if MTL were to get desperate due to another injury, they can just go sign someone like Lethonen or Pavelec at league minimum.

Habs have Price, Lindgren, Niemi, McNiven and Primeau in the org. All of which have NHL potential. Why would they ever trade Paches for one?

Trade was based off of if MTL could get out of that horrible contract and trade Price

Trade based off of MTL getting out from that horrible contract and trading Price. And imo its too much I gave up for a 30yr old declining player with 37 points last year and hoping he could rebound around better players.
