Opinions, yes... But if you really would replace players like Kucherov, Crosby and Giroux, pretty much no one will take you seriously.
I didn't say replace. I said best players talent, AGE, and VALUE...you don't get that. yes Crosby is really good, lmao I like Geno better and those 2 are debatable same with Point and Kuch, Giroux and Couturier is another great debate. Couturier did very well this past season, but at Giroux age how much can he sustain a stat line like he has in the past. Point on second did absolutely amazing. You can get a LOT for him. and I placed my money on Point being the most valuable for what he brings to the table. Yes I agree I like Kuch as well. A lot actually but when Stamkos retires you need a crucial foundational Center. Point is probably going to be that man. Just like when Hedman retires its going to be Serg at that point.

Giroux and Kucherov, both were over 100 point forwards - and they both are extremely important to their teams. Couturier and Point had very good seasons, but they are not even close to these mentioned franchise forwards who are at the peak of their game right now. And at the peak of their value as well.
But what comes to Malkin when compared to Crosby, I hear you. Malkin is an amazing player, but he is overshadowed by Crosby. Those two are much closer to each other than the other players we've mentioned here.
Also, Hedman and Stamkos are not going to retire in 10 years or so. Point and Sergachev will be commendable players, and over 30 years old then. Also they might be playing a different team.
I would also argue in favor of Schwartz over Tarasenko. Team melted down when Schwartz wasnt in the lineup last year, plus he does everything
Blues have a few people I can argue. Pietrangelo, Tarasenko, Schwartz,, and I would argue O’Reilly, but I haven’t seen him play with the Blues yet. So I’m leaving him out.
